KINNO OIL LUBE BLENDING FACILITY

Kinno Oil is a lube blending facility located at Afienya. It was introduced by the government of Ghana under the One District One Factory Initiative. The main products are diesel, engine oil, hydraulic fluid, motor vehicles gasoline, gear oil, heat conduction oil and grease.

Stark Energy provided the following services to Kinno:

  • Developed the blueprint Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&IDs) and 3D Models for the Lube Oil Processing Plant.
  • Designed bund wall for the 12 no Base oil tanks.
  • Provision of bund wall calculations document for construction.
  • Complete supervision for the construction of the bund wall for the base oil storage tanks.
  • Designed API separator.
  • Supervising the construction of the API separator.

PSB’s GASOIL & GASOLINE STORAGE AND LOADING FACILITY

Technical Services Consultants for IBISTEK-PSB’s 120,000 mt Gasoil & Gasoline Tank Farm and Automated Loading Gantry Project

  • Construction and operation of a petroleum tank farm depot and associated loading gantry at New Takoradi in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis in the Western Region of Ghana. The project involves the construction of 120,000mt (One hundred and twenty thousand metric tonnes) of Gasoil and Gasoline storage capacity, associated fully automated loading gantry, office complex, laboratory, internal paving network, additives plant, safety and security systems and related ancillary infrastructure.

RIKPAT ENTERPRISE (TECHNICAL CONSULTACY SERVICES)

  • Provision of consultancy services. (Provision of HSE services, PFDs, P&IDs and SOP development).
  • Preparation of NPA required documentation for the acquisition of license for the construction of the 20 tons/hr capacity lube oil blending facility at Gomoa Akotsi
  • Complete supervision of the construction and installation of equipments.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF TANK GAUGING AND GAS DETECTION SYSTEMS AT QUANTUM, TEMA

  • Mounting of sets of tank instruments for 3 No. LPG tanks.
  • Loop checking to confirm existing wiring on all terminations.
  • Termination of instruments in the field and MCC room (RTU).
  • Final loop checks and instruments power up.
  • Functional checks and handing over.

  • Submission of installation report.

SAHARA GROUP’s LPG STORAGE AND LOADING FACILITY

Technical Services Consultants for Sahara Group-Ashrami Synergy Ltd’s 6,000 mt LPG Storage Facility and Associated Loading Gantry Project.

  • Construction and operation of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Storage facility in Tema Industrial Area near Kpone in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The project involves the construction of 6,000mt (six thousand metric tonnes) Liquefied Petroleum Gas storage capacity, associated automated loading gantry, weighing bridge, office complex, internal paving network, safety and security systems and related ancillary infrastructure.

Akwaaba Oil Refinery

Consultancy services for Akwaaba Link Investment Limited’s
Refinery (Provision of HSE services, PFDs, P&IDs and SOP development).Provision of all the required documentation to NPA that led to the issuance of Refinery Permit to Operate certificate.

Greenwich Industries Limited-Waste Lube Oil Recycling Plant

Provision of Consultancy services for Greenwich Industries Limited – Waste Lube Oil Recycling Company. (Provision of HSE services,
PFDs, P&IDs and SOP development). Provision of all the required documentation to NPA that led to the issuance of Processing Plant Permit to Operate certificate.

AKWAABA OIL REFINERY

Technical Services Consultant to the 6,000 BPSD AKWAABA Oil Refinery .

300,000 BPSD Oil Refinery

Preparation of NPA Required Documentation for acquisition of License for construction of 300,000 BPSD Crude Oil Refinery at Ada, Ghana.

METKA’s Combine Cycle Power Plant, Ghana

Stark Energy Limited undertook HAZID Constructability Risk Assessment for the 3.5 Km Natural Gas Pipeline Construction
from the VRA Natural Gas Substation to Metka’s Power Plant in Tema.

 

TULLOW’s JUBILEE FPSO

Stark Energy in conjuction with EM&I, carried
out the below services;

  • Provision of LIMPET Sea Chests Isolations.
  • Remotely Operate Vehicle (ROV) Special survey of the hull
    and it’s appendages (General Visual Inspection (CVI)/ and
    Angle Measurement).
  • Cathodic protection Surveys.
  • Isolation and monitoring of underwater penetrations
    and discharge lines.
