MANNTEK

MANNTEK is a Swedish coupling manufacturing company that produces Dry Break Couplings and Dry Disconnect Couplings for safe and environmentally friendly handling of petroleum products with particular emphasis on LPG. The Dry Gas Coupling (DGC) has been developed for a safe and quick connection and disconnection of hoses and loading arms to LPG Bulk Road Vehicles (BRVs) and storage tanks. During connection and after disconnection, there is no spillage. More so, there is no venting after LPG loading/discharge. Through collaboration with Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC) and National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Stark Energy led the introduction and roll out of Dry Gas Coupling and Safety Breakaway Coupling into loading and unloading of LPG in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector. This initiative by Stark Energy has immensely contributed to mitigation of LPG related incidents in Ghana. Moreover, Stark Energy supplied MannTek’s Dry Disconnect Couplings for bunkering at Takoradi Sea Port.  Further, Stark Energy supplied MannTek Safety Breakaway Couplings and Dry Disconnect Couplings to Sonabhy- Burkina Faso and DMD – Cote D’lvoire respectively.

ELAFLEX is a German leading international refuelling equipment manufacturing specialist that produces hoses, hose fittings, ZVA fuel dispensing nozzles and couplings. Through Stark Energy’s initiative, all the LPG Bulk Distribtion Depots in Ghana use Elaflex LPG hoses for BRV truck loading.

In additiion, Stark Energy supplied the ELAFLEX Overwing Aircraft Refuelling Nozzles as well as Dry Aviation Couplings for use at Kotoka International Airport. Moreover, Stark  Energy supplied the Takoradi  Oil Jetty discharge hoses. Further, Stark Energy constantly supplies ELAFLEX ZVA Nozzles and Safety Breakways to major service companies like Universal Engineering, Rich Morgan, and GPS Tokheim  for use at TOTAL, SHELL, GOIL and other OMCs  fuel dispensing stations.

PARLYM is a French firm with extensive experience in the field of white product tank farms and associated loading gantry engineering, procurement, construction and installation as well as provision of technical assistance, optimization and upgrade of BDCs and OMCs facilities.

Currently, Parlym is collaborating with Stark Energy in undertaking the Front-End Engineering Design for IBISTEK-PSB’s 120,000 MT AGO, PMS & LPG Depot in Takoradi, Ghana.  In addition, Stark Energy collaborated with Parlym to supply Coalescers and Separators for use at Kotoka International Airport. Further, Stark Energy partnered Parlym in supplying firefighting equipment for Quantum’s LPG Cylinder Bottling Plant.

Currently, Stark Energy is collaborating with DEC-OGECO in undertaking the FEED for the LPG aspect of IBISTEK-PSB’s 120,000 MT AGO, PMS & LPG Depot at Takoradi, Ghana. In addition, DEC-OGECO is collaborating with Stark Energy to review the Detailed Engineering Design for construction of Sahara’s 6,000 MT LPG Depot project.
