Ghanaian-owned energy firm Stark Energy Ltd partnered with EM&I Group to isolate a number of key sea chests on an FPSO offshore Ghana for critical maintenance and repair, without using divers. EM&I’s LIMPET technology was deployed using its ‘intelligent’ sea chest blanking system and specialist ROVs.
Safe and effective execution with minimal disruption to overall operations, the task was implemented by a joint, multi-skilled team. A great team building local capacity through a strong partnership with indigenous firms.
