Stark Energy Ltd, in collaboration with EM&I Global, spearheaded its maiden Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on enhancing healthcare access in the community of Kpone Katamansu, Ghana. This initiative, comprising a health talk and the enrollment of over 330 locals in the Ghana National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), highlights Stark Energy and EM&I’s dedication to community well-being
At the heart of this CSR program was a comprehensive health talk organized by Stark Energy Ltd and EM&I Global. The talk covered a variety of health topics, including protection of kidneys, preventive healthcare measures, the importance of regular check-ups, and the benefits of the Ghana National Health Insurance Scheme. The goal was to educate and empower community members to take proactive steps towards better health.
One highlight of this program was the enrollment of 330 locals under the Ghana National Health Insurance Scheme. This initiative ensured that these participants had access to essential healthcare services, regardless of their financial circumstances. Two unique components of this initiative by Stark Energy and EM&I were fully catering for the registration process of participants and committing to renewing for the next 3 years the registrants of this year’s exercise, ensuring that participants faced no barriers to enrollment or essential health care services in the coming years.
At the end of the program Hon. Richard Tetteh (Assembly Man of Kpone Katamansu, Ghana) had this to say: “These people will live long!.. were the words from the 68year old woman who got renewed under your company’s fully funded health insurance program organized for the people of Kpone.
