We are the sole representative and distributor of MannTek, Sweden products in Ghana and neighbouring countries. Our range of products include Dry Disconnect Couplings, Dry aviation couplings, Dry Gas Couplings, Safety Break-away couplings, Dry Cryogenic couplings, etc.
Dry Disconnect Couplings are the given choice for handling any liquid, chemicals, gas etc.
Dry Disconnect Couplings are available in sizes from ¾” up to 6” and in a wide range of materials and seals to be the given choice for almost any application.
The self sealing design of the Dry disconnect couplings guarantees both the highest level of safety and also the quickest way of connecting and disconnecting.
DDCouplings®, Dry Disconnect Couplings, are designed for quick and spill free connection and disconnection of hoses and pipelines. They are used by producers of ink, adhesives, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, liquid soaps, petroleum, chemicals, agricultural and a wide variety of caustic products and speciality acids.
Dry Disconnect Couplings, also mentioned as dry break couplings and dry break coupler, can be found in a lot of various applications such as handling toxic chemicals, fuels etc. to transferring clean water, due to the wide range of materials, connections and sealing types Dry Disconnect Couplings are flexible enough to suit almost any application. The newest variant are LNG couplings (Cryogenic coupling). You can also read about our breakaway couplings here.
DDCouplings® are especially needed in areas of zero tolerance spillage when your product:
1. is of high value
2. requires costly environmental methods of cleaning-up in case of spillage
3. is expensive to reprocess or dispose of
4. is hazardous to the environment
5. can cause a health risk
6. is prone to accidental spillage and product loss
DDCouplings® are in use in installations all over the world, especially where certification is a prerequisite and are certified by TÜV, Apragaz, Veritas, TDT, plus regionally required approvals.
Dry aviation couplings are specially designed for handling aviation fuel and can be found at…
The Dry Aviation Couplings are designed for use in aviation and military refuelling systems with a maximum working pressure of 10 bar (150 psi). Working temperature range lies within -38oC (-36oF) to +60oC (+140oF), observe that special low temperature seals are used in cold environments. This coupling is not configured for under wing refuelling.
All units can also be used as bottom loading or primary points refuelling vehicles.
All units are manufactured to accept the international standard: 2½” the point bayonet, hose end refuelling nozzles, according to: ISO 45 / MS24484 / NATO STANAG 3105 / British Aerospace Specification 2C14.
The couplings consist of high strength aluminium body, coupling ring in gunmetal and bayonet flange and inner parts in stainless steel and aluminium. All wetted parts in aluminium and stainless steel.
ISO 45, MS24484, NATO STANAG 3105, British Aerospace Specification 2C14
The DACouplings include a bayonet-type connector and are flanged or threaded to suit installation requirements. Each tank unit contains a “fail safe” springloaded valve seating on a tapered seat. The valve is controlled by the action of coupling and uncoupling the hose unit.
Dry Gas Couplings are a further development from the Dry Disconnect Couplings…
The Dry Gas Coupling has been developed for a safe and quick connection and disconnection of hoses and loading arms to tank trucks, rail tankers and tank containers. During connection and after disconnection there is no spillage.
This increases safety in the loading process of hazardous fluids.
Suitable for handling a range of LPG applications – Propane and Butane but also for other applications with similar requirements the Dry Gas Coupling is useful.
The robust design, easy servicing and high level of security assures safe and frequent use on a long term basis. This protects the environment and the media handled, reduces the risk of accidents and saves money.
A modular design with several optional features makes it possible to find individual solutions for your special application.
APPLICATION | COUPLING SIZE |
Heavy vehicle filling | 1″ |
Loading/unloading of bobtails | 2″ |
Loading/unloading of tank trucks | 2″-3″ |
Loading/unloading of rail cars | 3″ |
Loading/unloading ship to shore | 3″-4″ |
Dry Gas Couplings are used to prevent excess spillage. They protect people and property from dangerous and costly exposure by keeping hazardous liquids and vapors in-line and out of the environment.
Dry Gas Couplings are used at liquid or vapor transfer points where you do not want product loss. Using Dry Gas couplings will reduce the hazards typically found when handling/processing LPG.
1. Spillfree handling for loading and unloading tank trucks, rail tankers and tank containers.
2. Minimization spillage and product loss keeps the environment free from Hazardous Vapors and Liquids.
3. “Easy to Use” – design saves time and minimises health risks.
4. Reliability and easy servicing saves your investment.
5. Approved for safe handling of LPG – Propane (CAS 74-98-6, UN 1978) and Butane (CAS 106-97-8, UN1011). UN-classification 2.1 and similar applications.
6. 3” and 4” is compatible with existing Dry Disconnect / Dry Break Couplings according to STANAG 3756.
7. The 1” is a heavy duty vehicle filling nozzle according to EN 13760.
8. Approvals according to the European Directives PED and ATEX and the international requirements ADR, RID, IMDG and TDT.

Safety Break-away couplings are used to prevent pull away…
Safety Break-away couplings are used to prevent pull away accidents, protect terminal and loading/unloading equipment and eliminated unwanted product release. The break-away couplings has a diverted breaking point which will break at a determined break-load where upon the internal valves will automatically close on both sides. This will in a longer time frame minimize down time, save money, equipment and the environment.
The Safety Break-away couplings are available as Industrial and Marine type.
Typically installed into loading arm and hose assemblies, where at least one side of the coupling is attached to a rig and fixed point.
Marine Safety Break-aways are designed to only release by inline pull and used between two strings of hose.
The SBCouplings, Safety break-away couplings has three external break bolts. In the case of axial tension all of the bolts take up the force corresponding to the break force on the hose with a safety margin.
Non-axial forces concentrate the tension forces more strongly on one bolt, so that the safety break-away coupling reacts in a natural way to the reduction of the hose break forces.
Before emergency disconnect
The safety break-away valve consists of two halves, each with a valve that has an o-ring seal.
After emergency disconnect
When the SBCouplings separate, it allows the valves to close. The two valves closes rapidly, minimizing exposure to personnel and the environment.
This is a completely different type of coupling than, for example, Dry Break Couplings.
1. Passive security against situations where a hose or loading arm could be subjected to inadvertent excessive loads.
2. Design features are a simple mechanism and no loose components which could belost after release.
3. Operates independently of shut off safety system and does not require an externalpower source.
4. Easy to reset on site with one person High flowrate / low pressure drop
5. Very low loss, positive shut-off of both coupling halves results in minimum product loss.
6. Lightweight and robust design.

DEC – Dry Evotek Couplings stands for another generation of…
DEC – Dry Evotek Couplings stands for another generation of dry disconnect couplings, that is specially made for use in the chemical industry.
The external cam curve is ergonomically designed and allows coupling against pressure in the tank unit. Rotating the coupling 120° clockwise opens the valves where the high engagement between hose and tank unit ensures a strong connection.
If the coupling halves are disconnected, their inner valves close the line securely. Once coupled, the valves open the flow cross-section with minimum pressure loss. No moving parts interfere with the flow, which makes cleaning easier. Turning the coupling counter clockwise, the valves close due to spring force. Continuing to rotate will separate the coupling halves without significant effort.
1. Low connecting forces even against pressure
2. Ergonomic handle (DN40 and bigger)
3. Good transmission ratio in the cam curve
4. Wide range of chemical resistance due to selection of high quality materials
5. Minimized spillage during decoupling
