The scope of work involved inspection, repair, precision lapping, refurbishment, reassembly, and testing of critical compressor valves and packing box components. All activities were executed in strict accordance with OEM specifications to ensure optimal valve performance, reliability, and operational integrity.

This project marks a major milestone for Ghana’s oil and gas industry, as it represents the first-ever compressor valve refurbishment undertaken locally in Ghana through the STARK–HOERBIGER partnership. Delivering this scope locally demonstrates the country’s growing technical capability to support specialized rotating equipment maintenance while significantly reducing overseas repair logistics and turnaround time.

Following the successful completion of refurbishment and testing, the valves were safely packaged and delivered to the FPSO client’s designated logistics base, marking the successful completion of the project scope.
